Let it Simmer

Did you ever make a snap decision and quickly regret it? Have you ever noticed that decisions made thoughtfully over a period of time tend to be better than decisions made in haste? I have a name for this process: I call it 'simmering.' When you simmer a stew, the food cooks more thoroughly and tastes better. When you 'simmer' a decision, it has the time it needs to process in your mind. Decision s made like this almost always turn out to be better than ones made too quickly.
