About Dr. Clare’s Work
FAMILY COUNSELING: Family provides the foundation for all relationships. When a person is unhappy at home, he/she is frequently unhappy elsewhere. A strategic family counseling model is used to assist family members from diverse backgrounds to enhance communication, resolve conflicts and improve overall health and well-being of family members.
FINANCIAL THERAPY: Financial strain can reduce relationship satisfaction; worsen symptoms of depression and difficulty with emotional functioning, personal health and job performance. Financial therapy involves the use of motivational interviewing and solution focused interventions to assist clients to resolve money disorders.
GROUP COUNSELING– The healing power of the group is used to inspire hope, improve social skills and enhance interpersonal learning.
