The office is located at 2nd Street and Bryant in the Edmond Regional Medical Building in Edmond. The office is suite 302. This building will soon be renamed OU Edmond Medical Building.

Practice Description

Dr. Swafford is an experienced clinician available for a variety of services. Pre-surgery evaluations, alcohol and drug use evaluations, psychological evaluations, evaluation for ADHD/ADD are available. Evalulations may be customized according the client's needs. Counseling/therapy services utilize Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapies, and other modalities that seek to improve the quality of life of clients.

Dr. Swafford's clinical experience includes work in an alcohol detox, directing a flood victim assistance program, working with hardcore delinquent youth, coordinating a drug/alcohol education and treatment program for an Oklahoma state agency, chief of human services for major Indian tribe in Oklahoma. Dr. Swafford was Postdoctoral Fellow in Chemical Dependency in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC).
