About FSRI Psychological Services Department:
I am the Clinical Director of the Psychological Services Department at Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute. Our clinic has an extremely professional and expert staff of clinicians and we are therefore able to treat a broad range of concerns. All clinical services are offered in Arabic and English.
Our clinic specializes in individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults to address a range of concerns including behavioral problems, academic problems, problems with low mood, anxiety/worry, family problems, and eating concerns. We are also well-qualified for marriage/couples counseling and family counseling.
We also have a unique program in collaboration with Yale University whereby we are able to offer telehealth medication consultations with doctors at Yale University.
Our clinic also specializes in educational psychology and psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Using the latest testing instruments, we do not just identify areas of weakness but are instead focused on individuals' strengths. All assessments are also focused on interventions and determining concrete recommendations to improve the problem.
We test for the following concerns:
-Neuropsychological conditions
-Intelligence and cognitive assessments (WISC-IV)
-Academic ability (WIAT-III)
-Attention and concentration problems (ADHD)
-Learning disabilities including reading, writing, and math disabilities
-Developmental disabilities including Autism and Asperger's
-Dementia and geriatric concerns
-Specific diagnostic concerns including depression, anxiety, social anxiety, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, addictions, OCD, schizophrenia, childhood anxiety/depression, personality disorders, forgiveness, anger, and marital satisfaction and many others.
Assessments will be tailored to the specific concerns of the client and will result in a very detailed report. The report will specifically address the reason for the referral and will provide detailed recommendations. Follow-up services are also available to help implement the treatment recommendations.
The first step is to call me (2572-0338) or email me and we can arrange an in-person consultation to assess the problem, provide preliminary recommendations, and answer any questions. All of our services, starting with the first email or phone call, are confidential and private.
