Education: After earning my BA in Social Studies from Syracuse U., I attended the U. of Texas to participate in a Computer Science program and spent last 30 years in corporate executive position. I earned my Masters in Counseling at St. Edwards U., Austin, TX.

The Passages to Potential Center is a counseling private practice and yoga studio that uses an integrative, holistic, healing and revelatory psychotherapeutic approach to counseling and mind-body-spirit integration. Cheri provides a mature, people-centered empathy-based counseling model for adults and couples needing self-confidence and seeking self-awareness and personal growth by becoming all they were born to be. It is a place wherein men and women who are feeling stuck can finally find the happiness, peace, self satisfaction, fulfillment and issue resolution they may have been seeking all their lives. Individual and couples counseling sessions are available. What I've found to be most effective initially is to hold two intensive 3 hour sessions in the first week with my clients to quickly establish a strong therapeutic alliance, and to complete a thorough history and symptom picture to identify the root cause and sources of their mental, emotional and relational problems. Group sessions are based on a non-confrontational empathy based model wherein the group members go into co-consciousness with each other. Women's groups are formed every spring in early March using the mythological imagery of Aphrodite to fully awaken and activate a woman's natural essence and beauty.
