Family-Therapy.ca is a team of 5 empathic psychotherapists, who ensure you feel accepted. Through a collaborative approach we jointly address and resolve issues that are causing you pain and grief. The path to emotional healing is to jointly explore and increase awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour. Through therapy you can learn the skills and tools you need to create a harmonious balanced life, create close meaningful connections with others, and help you obtain the life you want.
Family Therapy offers you a wide variety of therapy modalities, expertise, and flexible hours to meet you personal needs and help restore harmony back into your life. We specialize in helping you improve your relationships with yourself and other people. Together we create a safe place for you to speak freely as we travel with you through life's difficulties. Depending on your therapist, we offer day, evening, and weekend appointments. Our counselling services are covered by your third party health insurance plan.

Individual therapy can cover a wide range of issues from self-esteem, depression to self-discovery. We work at your pace to help you reduce your stress and obtain balance in your life. All members of our Therapy Team at Family Therapy work with individuals. Arash Kameli, Nataxja Cini, and Rekha Chagarlamudi work with young teens. Miguel Nucete and Bill MacMurray work with young and older adults.
During couple’s therapy, each partner is validated and allowed to express their ideas and concerns. Together, we discover your negative patterns that keep you distant from each other. We relearn how to connect together to create a strong loving bond. We create a safe environment to explore difficult topics and resolve the hurt and pain. Nataxja Cini, Arash Kameli, Bill MacMurray, and Rekha Chagarlamudi all work with couples.
Therapy helps your child develop problem solving skills and teaches them that asking for help is a positive experience. Therapy allows children to grow, learn, heal and thrive. Rekha Chagarlamudi is our child therapist. She addresses the needs of children and families. Rekha works with families towards enhanced communication, planning, and effective parenting and co-parenting. She specializes in child and family assessment, parenting coordination, and parental capacity evaluation.

Nataxja is a registered social worker and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She is a certified Emotional Focused Therapist. Nataxja uses her experience and training as an Emotional Focused Therapist to assist clients create positive secure connections with others whether as a couple, parents or as a family. She is committed to helping couples overcome affairs and creating strong relationships.
Arash is a Canadian Certified Counsellor. He is committed to helping you gain insight to make the changes that will enable you to promote your personal growth. He enjoys working with individuals, to overcome and explore how anger negatively impacts their lives and relationships. Arash works with men and women regarding sexuality and other sexual issues. He works collaboratively with you to help you build on your own self-healing capacities, strengths, and abilities.
Rekha is a registered social worker. She addresses the needs of children, couples, and families. Rekha has over ten years experience as a child and family therapist, adoption assessor, parenting co-ordinator, and parental capacity evaluator. Her counselling style is described as collaborative, supportive, and compassionate. Together, she can assist you and your family develops purposeful goals that achieve positive measurable outcomes.
Bill is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and trauma specialist. He works with individuals to help them overcome trauma and he works with couples as an Emotional Focused Therapist. His kind and gentle nature helps couples and individuals open up and express their inner most concerns and fears.
Miguel is a psychologist who trained and worked abroad. He is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and had over 10 years of experience working with individuals suffering from chronic pain and health related issues. Miguel works very well with adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, isolation, bullying, burnout syndrome, low self-esteem, communication and relationship problems.
