Dr. Vincenza Tiberia Practice Description
My professional mission is to help as many children and adults as possible to fulfill their educational, career and psychosocial goals--and I am uniquely equipped to do so. In fact, my psychological practice is reknowned for unparalleled diagnostic expertise and reliable treatment results for attention deficit disorders, learning disabilities and emotional disorders. My educational background as a Professional Psychologist, including training and vast experience in the areas of psychological assessment, research, program and test development, neuropsychology and educational psychology enable me to accurately diagnose and successfully treat emotional, psychological and psychosocial issues in children and adults.
I have also undergone seven years of Jungian training analysis while a doctoral student living in Southern California and published several works in the field of Jungian analytical psychology. I completed my Ph.D. in professional psychology in 1981 at The School of Human Behavior in San Diego which was founded and staffed by some of the most influential psychologists of the 20th century, including Abraham Maslow, Victor Frankl, Rollo May, Everett Shostrom, Harold Greenwald, Carl Rogers, Herbert Blumer and Max Lerner. I also had the honor and privilege of being trained as the first Biodyne Provider in Florida by past APA President and Founder of American Biodyne, Dr. Nicholas Cummings. As a result of my extensive training in psychotherapeutic principles as taught by some of the original founders of those schools of practice, I am highly qualified in the application of several therapeutic techniques including, Jungian-oriented Psychotherapy, Short-Term Intermittent Psychotherapy Throughout the Life cycle, Biodyne Addiction Treatment, Rogerian Client-Centered Therapy, Actualizing Therapy, Bioenergetics and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
