After receiving his degree in neurobiology, physiology and behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla completed medical school at Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his psychiatry specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County General Hospital and the University of Southern California Medical Center. As a previous medical director, chief of inpatient county psychiatric services, and professor for the UC Davis Residency and Medical School Behavioral Sciences department, Dr. Chofla repeatedly demonstrates leadership excellence.
