Dr. Gail Shen Practice Description
My areas of expertise include treating depression, mood swings, anxiety, and relationship/interpersonal issues.
I also specialize in treating in prenatal and postpartum mood disorders. Adjusting to parenthood can be difficult for both men and women. 1 in 8 women experience increased anxiety or depression during pregnancy and/or after childbirth. 1 in 10 men also experience postpartum depression. These symptoms are treatable, and you will feel like your old self again.
I love the work I do and look forward to speaking with you about my practice. Please contact me if you have questions or if I can offer you support. Finding the right therapist-client match is important to the process, and I am happy to offer you a free phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit.
NOTE REGARDING INSURANCE: I would be considered an out of network provider for most insurance companies. Many insurance companies will, however, offer partial reimbursement for out of network providers. I am happy to supply you with monthly statements which can then be submitted to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Please check with your individual insurance provider for details.
