Practice Description
When you feel up against yourself, overwhelmed, have lost your sense of direction, are so self-critical that you inhibit your efforts or are in a relationship that undermines you, it is time to come in for therapy. You will find my office a safe, welcoming place in which to explore your thoughts, feelings and experience. As we collaborate, you will begin to regain your sense of direction, selftrust, inner strength and vision, working through the practical problems of life with greater ease. I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship that honors your uniqueness and meets your specific needs.
My work is rooted in the mind/body connection. I begin by covering the basics, then, depending on you, draw on a wide variety of techniques (psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, breath work, dream work, energy therapy, gestalt, hypnotherapy, meditation, and visualization).
The longer I practice, the more deeply I am able to connect with clients, helping to awaken their innate healing capacities, creativity and spirituality. Participating in this transformative process is one of the great joys of doing therapy.
