Ruby J. Linhan, LISW-S
Clinical Social Work/Therapist
For a variety of reasons people aren't able to enter into adulthood with the self-esteem and security that was their birthright. Therapy is partly about learning new skills, but on a deeper level it's about finishing the process of growing up. That's what I help with.

Ruby J. Linhan Practice Description
Confidence. Satisfaction. Strength. That's what I want for you. I specialize in complex childhood trauma, but see people who have a variety of concerns. I also enjoy working with anxiety, eating disorders, gender identity issues, men's issues, and personality disorders. As a body-oriented Gestalt therapist I can help you tune in to what you really need in each moment and get those needs met. I can help you identify and express what you're feeling in ways that feed your relationships. And I can help you become powerful enough to finally create the life you want.
The therapeutic relationship is a space where unmet needs from childhood are met and that pain is soothed. It's also a space for exploring how to be yourself without getting stuck in shame. I will work hard to give you the support and honesty you need to really thrive.
