I have been thinking a lot in recent times about my School teachers, some more definately because of the fruits their seeds have yielded in my Life.
One teacher, specifically helped me get my handwriting right and better. I used to mix capital and small letters in sentences. He taught me that you start with capital letters and you continue with small letters in addition to using punctuation marks.
One insisted to my Mum while filling the Jamb form that I enroll for Human Resources Management as against the popular “Economics” that we were expected to sign up for if we were in commercial class.
Another encouraged my Mum to get me into Secondary School from Primary 4 because of my brightness. He insisted that Primary 5 was a waste of my time, that has given me the age Advantage.
These Men haven’t actively contributed to my Life since then, but their seeds contribution has forever changed my Life Indeed.
Not everyone will follow you into every Season of your Life, No.
Some for a While, Some for a Longer While, others for the Long run.
BUT,
When you see an area where someone evidently sowed a seed, never stop being Grateful.
Because a person has been a Part of your Life for a Season, doesn’t mean that person’s role is useless or that person never did you good, even if you two are officially over.
Everywhere you have gotten to is a Layer of Sacrifices by different people and even if you have the greatest of the greatest Mentors now, He/She alone didn’t do ‘all’ the work in getting you to who you are. It has been Layers and Layers and Seasons of Seasons of different people whether you admit it or not.

In a Generation that is quick to think that they are “Self-Made” really reconsider what that statement even means and today more than ever, Pray for those who have deeply contributed to your Life and if you can, reach out.
For we all are a Product of Someone’s Love and Sacrifice.
