As a life coach, I work with individuals who feel stuck, down, or overwhelmed and help them build resilience, confidence, gratitude, hope and joy while making progress toward their goals. I particularly support individuals who identify as empaths, introverts, or highly sensitive and have special training to support those who are experiencing challenges, including grief, stress, hopelessness and other complex emotions related to climate change.

Treatment Approach

  • Social Constructionist
Approach Description: With a social constructionist approach, coach and client co-create a relationship in which we challenge common beliefs that hold us back. We raise awareness about the power of language and communication in driving deep transformation. Curiosity is at the core of coaching, as we explore new possibilities and worldviews. Once we recognize that what we consider as right and true is subjective and context dependent, there is great relief and freedom in reshaping one's story, and focusing on strengths, resourcefulness, and values, rather than being stuck with limitations and beliefs about the way things "should be".

Alexandra Arnold, Alma Coaching Practice Description
I am an ICF-accredited (PCC) life coach with a Master's in Organizational Psychology. I use Positive Psychology, Appreciative Inquiry, the Positive Intelligence framework, and a Social Constructionist approach. I believe that coaching is a journey where clients learn tools that they can keep using well beyond the coaching engagement. I create a safe environment with no judgement where clients can explore topics and deep emotions and allow themselves to be vulnerable. I also believe in playfulness and while coaching is transformative and meaningful work, there is room for lightness and humor. Creating a container to play around difficult topics is often what leads to great insights!
