Hello and welcome! I've been providing therapy for individuals and couples for over 15 years and offer help for a range of issues. Some of my areas of specialization are anxiety and phobias, low self-esteem, problems in relationships, trauma, body image and weight concerns. In addition, I assist clients in learning to better manage stress, particularly stress related to life transitions, career, health, creative blocks, perfectionism and procrastination.
My therapy style is very supportive and interactive and I provide a confidential, judgmental-free space where you can feel accepted and heard and safe enough to freely express your feelings. While exploring your issues in depth, I remain focused on you achieving your goals.
Therapy can help you better understand yourself and your needs while finding practical solutions to problems. It can help you identify unhealthy patterns of thinking and behaving that can cause you to feel stuck, lost, and uncertain of who you really are. Although people seek therapy for many reasons, frequently people come with complaints of feeling overwhelmed, weak, incompetent, unworthy, or "not enough". This gets in the way of feeling genuine happiness and can leave you feeling hopeless about your life.
As your therapist I will help you change these false beliefs and develop a healthier, more realistic perspective. You'll discover your own unique strengths, innate resources, and true potential. With better self-awareness and renewed confidence and sense of self, you can connect more authentically with others and drastically improve the quality of your relationships overall. You'll feel empowered to make healthier choices, find your optimal way of living and being, and create positive, lasting changes that lead to a more fulfilled life.
Sometimes a short-term, solution-focused therapy approach is sufficient to learn specific skills to address your problems. This can often provide more immediate relief. Other times therapy may involve a longer-term process that is in-depth and gradual in order to achieve your goals. Since everyone's therapy need is different, I'll partner with you to determine what you need and tailor the therapy to your unique situation.

I provide Individual & Couples Psychotherapy (both long and short term) to address a wide spectrum of psychological, emotional and behavioral issues. I also offer Online Video Therapy, Consultation & Coaching.
As a therapist I have worked in various settings including mental health clinics, psychotherapy institutes, and in my private practice. After receiving my Master's Degree from New York University I continued my clinical training in several evidence-based approaches in order to provide the most effective treatment for my clients and their unique, individual needs.
