Approach Description: I believe that every person’s story is unique, which is why my approach is integrative and tailored specifically to your needs. Instead of a one-size-fits-all method, I draw from various modalities to create a personalised experience. My approach combines insights from neuroscience to help you understand the complexities of your nervous system, psychological interventions to foster meaningful change, and communication skills that help you engage assertively with others while being compassionate with yourself.
To bring everything together, I draw on Eastern wisdom, supporting you in finding perspective shifts and helping regulate your nervous system through practices such as body awareness and breathwork.
My therapeutic style embodies a fusion of Eastern and Western influences because that fusion is me; I am a blend of East and West. This inclusive approach allows me to honour diverse paths of healing and understanding, offering you a broader perspective in our journey together.

I grew up in Karachi, in a home where different cultures met and intertwined. Those early experiences deeply shaped my understanding of identity and belonging, sparking a lifelong curiosity about people and their stories. As a mixed-race therapist, I have a personal and professional understanding of the complexities of navigating life between cultures. I know how challenging it can be to reconcile different parts of yourself or to feel like you don’t belong fully in any one space. Supporting clients through these experiences is a particular passion of mine.
At the same time, I work with clients from all walks of life, helping them navigate a variety of challenges—from anxiety and depression to burnout and relationship issues. My aim is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey.
I’ve lived in four countries, travelled widely, and eventually settled in Australia, where my partner and I are raising our family in a multicultural home. These experiences continue to shape my approach as a therapist and help me connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I feel honoured to do this work and to support my clients in creating lives that feel true and fulfilling to them.
Reaching out for help is a courageous act—it truly is. No matter where you are in your mental health journey, our work begins with a complimentary 20-minute consultation. This is an opportunity for us to explore your unique needs and discuss how I can support you. Your therapy journey is as unique as you are. Together, we’ll craft a personalised counselling plan based on your specific goals and circumstances. This collaborative process helps you reflect on where you are now and where you’d like to be. We’ll identify therapeutic interventions, tools, and skills that resonate with you—practical strategies that you can apply in your daily life to help you move forward and reach your goals. Whether you’re new to therapy or have worked with therapists before, it’s important to honour your unique pace. As an outcome-focused therapist, I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and encouragement every step of the way. No matter the length of your journey, my commitment is to help you achieve meaningful and lasting change.
