Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Experiential Therapy Involves hands-on activities to bring emotions into the present moment. It helps clients process feelings more deeply than through conversation alone.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: As a certified trauma-informed yoga teacher, I am passionate about mind-body-spirit wellness. I often implement mindfulness and somatic work in my sessions. Some other theories and modalities I draw from include: ACT, EMDR, Attachment, & Existential. When you go through big life changes and challenges, it can sometimes feel like you get lost in the process. My creative & integrative approach will provide you with a holistic therapy experience that is unique to you. No two stories are the same, keeping this in mind, I customize treatment to fit each client’s specific needs.

Who you want to be can feel hard to integrate with all that is expected of you. On the inside, you might be struggling with worry, self-doubt, sadness, or feelings of disconnection when on the outside, it might seem as though you “have it all together". If this is you, you are not alone. I support clients through life transitions and help them navigate changes in their identity. I offer a therapeutic space where you can let your walls down. My sessions are a soft place to land– a place where you can comfortably show up unfiltered. I believe that it is possible to find your new normal– an identity and life that fits with who you really want to be, not who you feel like you have to be. I would be honored to navigate what that could look like for you!
