My approach is based on helping you connect with your true self, and that means getting in touch with different parts that may be shut down or put aside. These parts are likely hard to access in a way that has been helpful before. I believe in bravely choosing to honor your thoughts and feelings, and acknowledging this may be uncomfortable. However, by doing so you can become more aligned with the person you want to become. I believe intentional spaces are needed to reflect in that way. My hope is this can be one.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: I use approaches like IFS, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness and the Mind Body connection. In practice, what this means is naming and then choosing to change your relationships to your thoughts, urges, memories, and impulses. I believe through different approaches that you can find new perspective and awareness, and choose how you want to respond to the world around you.

My practice is connected to noticing feelings and building awareness with the thoughts and body sensations that come. My approach is connected to help you learn more about your body and mind, your past and current thoughts and beliefs, and how all of this helps you choose how to move in the world.
