Clients who come to me typically are dealing with a life crisis, feelings of depression, anxiety, mood swings, or who are just looking for support because they are struggling with a life issue. Many of my clients have suffered childhood abuse or neglect, sexual abuse, sexual assaults, rapes or other traumatic events. I have several women who are struggling with life issues and sexism or phase of life issues in addition to childhood issues. I do work with men in couples counseling or if they have suffered childhood abuse issues as well. I have many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered clients. I am a specialist in helping GLBT youth and adults. In addition, I help adolescents and their families with teen issues and have treated adolescents for over 20 years. I offer many different support groups along with individual, couples and family therapy. I also offer art therapy, sandplay therapy, game, bibliotherapy and other creative forms of therapy. I am trained in EMDR and TAT. I like to make therapy as effective as possible and use whatever means are necessary to help you in your healing process.
