I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 114587) specializing in therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I am dedicated to fostering a safe environment and working with each individual to develop a customized plan to improve their quality of life. My professional background consists of extensive work with at-risk youth through individual, family, and group counseling in the community mental health setting, where I have helped families navigate issues ranging from severe mental health diagnoses like depression, anxiety, trauma, attention and impulse-control disorders, anger management, interpersonal relationship difficulties, and substance use. I have also worked in the school-based setting with elementary and secondary schools helping youth learn emotional regulation. I also work with a specialized mental health program in the Los Angeles area providing mental health services to the Deaf Community. I believe that individuals of all backgrounds require assistance and support in setting goals and meeting them, from a professional who is cognizant and accommodating of limitations and diversity.
