I’m Dr. Rachel Spero-Hoy, Licensed Psychologist. I am licensed to practice in Washington, Kansas, and 41 additional PSYPact states. I specialize in trauma and mood disorders with over a decade of expert training in these areas with diverse populations.
I spent a decade studying PTSD, Posttraumatic Growth, and Resiliency. I spent another decade helping Veterans overcome the most traumatic moments in their life. Approach Description: I offer treatment plans with various evidence based treatments (EBPs) or a choice for more unstructured evidence-informed treatment. It's ok if you don't know what is the best fit for you right now. We'll figure it out collaboratively in our first few sessions. Personally, I make every effort for clients to be their authentic selves without shame in the therapy space. I love incorporating meaningful holistic practices into our work. I cuss in session, use humor, and will never be accused of being a 'blank slate' therapist.
