You deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported, without judgment. My approach to therapy is rooted in genuine connection, compassion, and practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re managing anxiety, healing from past experiences, or adjusting to a new phase of life, I create a safe, collaborative space where you can slow down, explore what’s really going on, and begin to feel more grounded and in control. Therapy isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about having a place to ask honest questions and grow through them. Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) An evidence-based treatment for PTSD that teaches clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts about trauma. It helps reduce guilt, shame, and fear.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Psychoanalytic Therapy Based on Freud’s theories, it explores unconscious conflicts and past experiences. It seeks to bring hidden issues into awareness.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen, mind, body, and spirit. My work is grounded in Christian counseling, offering faith-informed support while honoring each person’s unique story and values. Drawing from a blend of evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, I help clients identify what’s no longer serving them and move toward greater clarity and purpose.
I also integrate Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Therapy to explore deeper emotional patterns, while Narrative and Family Systems Therapy guide us in understanding the stories and relationships that shape us. When appropriate, I incorporate Somatic Therapy to reconnect the body’s wisdom and create space for grounded healing. Motivational Interviewing supports your readiness for change, helping you take meaningful steps at your own pace.
Each session is tailored to meet you where you are, emotionally, spiritually, and practically. Whether you’re processing trauma, navigating life transitions, or seeking greater emotional and spiritual alignment, our work together is collaborative, compassionate, and anchored in hope.
