What makes my therapy practice great is the genuine connection and safety clients feel from our very first moments. I take time to truly understand each person’s story and tailor therapy to their unique needs, using approaches that are both compassionate and evidence-based. My focus on supporting teens and young adults through life’s challenges creates a space where growth, healing, and confidence can take root.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that growth happens within safe and trusting relationships. I view therapy as a partnership where clients are the experts on their own experiences, and my role is to help them uncover insight, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based practices such as EMDR, ACT, and DBT, along with trauma-informed and attachment-based perspectives, to ensure that therapy is both effective and deeply personalized.
I strive to create a space where clients feel seen and understood, especially when facing overwhelming emotions or difficult life transitions. I help clients increase awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while learning tools to regulate emotions, manage stress, and strengthen relationships. My style is warm, direct, and supportive, aiming to balance validation with gentle challenge so clients can grow at a pace that feels safe yet empowering.
At its core, my approach centers on helping clients reconnect with their resilience and inner strength so they can move forward with greater confidence, self-compassion, and clarity.

My practice is dedicated to helping adolescents and young adults navigate the emotional ups and downs that come with growing, changing, and finding their place in the world. These years can be filled with pressure, uncertainty, and self-doubt and therapy can be a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and learn healthier ways to cope. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.
In our work together, I help clients explore what’s beneath their emotions and behaviors while building skills for managing stress, relationships, and self-esteem. My approach integrates trauma-informed care with evidence-based practices such as EMDR, ACT, and DBT, allowing me to tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, past trauma, or identity-related struggles, therapy is centered around helping clients build resilience and trust in themselves.
Parents often share that they appreciate my ability to connect with their teen in an authentic, relatable way, while also providing guidance and collaboration that supports the whole family system. For young adults, therapy offers a chance to develop clarity and confidence in navigating independence, relationships, and life transitions.
Ultimately, my goal is to help clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck to feeling grounded, empowered, and capable of creating meaningful change in their lives.
