Psychotherapy is a highly personalized process, shaped by the unique personalities of both
psychologist and client as well as the specific issues being addressed. Drawing from
empirically supported treatments, I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your
individual needs, ensuring our work together is both meaningful and effective.
Through more than 20 years of working closely with hundreds of clients, I have found that when we unite
with a shared commitment to your growth, therapy can lead to healthier relationships, effective

Embarking on a therapy journey can feel both hopeful and uncertain, and I strive to make the process
welcoming, collaborative, and supportive from the very beginning. My approach to therapy is rooted in
evidence-based treatments, ensuring that the techniques we use are effective and research-supported. Equally
important is the relationship we build together—one that is grounded in trust, respect, and openness. This
relational approach serves as a foundation for our work, making therapy a safe space to explore challenges
and foster growth.
In our initial sessions, I’ll work to understand your unique experiences, concerns, and goals. Together, we’ll discuss
what you hope to achieve, whether it’s relief from distressing symptoms, insight into personal patterns, improved
relationships, or a deeper sense of well-being. I believe in setting a collaborative direction from the start,
making space for your insights, strengths, and preferences.
My experience with hundreds of clients has shown that when we work together with shared goals, the outcomes
can be life-enriching: enhanced relationships, effective problem-solving skills, greater self-awareness, and
significant relief from distress. You can expect therapy to be a place where you gain practical tools for
managing challenges and feel supported in achieving the meaningful changes you envision.
Generally, therapy is once a week or every other week, however frequency and total number of sessions are
things we can discuss, based on your needs, goals, and circumstances.
