In my therapeutic practice, I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ identifying folks with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. I take an intersectional approach with clients to understand client's varying identities and how they interact with one another to create the client's perception of themselves and the world around them. I also like to utilize Systems therapy, where I examine with clients how they are impacted by the various interconnected systems in their lives, including but not limited to family, work, community, and societal structures. Through these means, I support clients in developing coping strategies and challenge their ways of thinking, so that when they leave my practice, they have strong skillsets in place to utilize even after sessions are completed.
