Treatment Approach
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
- Rational-Emotive
- Reality
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Approach Description: My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These aren’t buzzwords—they’re frameworks that help you change how you think, behave, and respond under pressure.
CBT and REBT target the automatic thoughts and beliefs that fuel anxiety or keep you stuck. SFBT and Reality Therapy keep us focused on what’s working now and what you can control. ACT adds a layer of flexibility, helping you stop avoiding discomfort and start acting in line with what actually matters to you.
I use whatever mix gets results—and if something isn’t working, we don’t keep doing it. The goal is clarity, not complexity.

Podera Therapy is a virtual private practice serving adults in Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and South Carolina. I work with clients who are done tolerating the stress, disorganization, or burnout caused by ADHD, anxiety, or depression. My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and grounded in proven therapeutic methods.
I don’t drag things out. Therapy should be useful from the start. We focus on what’s getting in your way, build skills to address it, and adjust as needed. You’ll get a mix of direct feedback, practical tools, and accountability. Whether you need help with focus and follow-through, regulating emotions, or managing your relationships, we’ll create a plan that makes sense for your life—not someone else’s idea of what should work.
Sessions are held via secure telehealth, making it easier to fit into your schedule without commuting or rearranging your day. I also provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists seeking a clear, ethical, and focused training experience.
