Treatment Approach
- Behavioral Therapy Uses learning techniques like reinforcement and practice to change unwanted behaviors. It is often applied to phobias, anxiety, and habits.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: Life can change fast — sometimes faster than we can keep up. Whether you’re facing a major transition, living with Functional Neurological Disorder, managing anxiety, or navigating identity changes, it can feel like you’re losing your footing. Many of my clients are first responders, military members, or individuals impacted by trauma and crisis. Others are simply trying to keep going while feeling burnt out and disconnected.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I believe healing starts with connection — being truly seen, heard, and understood. In our work together, we’ll explore your unique story and find tools to help you move forward with confidence. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, solution-focused, and trauma-focused approaches, tailoring treatment to your needs.

- Online Therapy Details: Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? One day everything feels manageable, and the next, the rug gets pulled out from under us. Maybe you’ve been through a major transition or a loss, or maybe you’ve just been holding things together for everyone else for so long that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to breathe. I work with people in those in-between spaces — the times when things stop making sense and you’re trying to find your footing again. Many of my clients are navigating Functional Neurological Disorder, anxiety, or identity questions. Others are first responders, military members, or people who have faced trauma and crisis and are still figuring out how to carry what they’ve lived through. You don’t have to have everything “fall apart” to come to therapy — sometimes it’s just realizing you can’t keep doing things the same way anymore.
I believe deeply in the power of family and relationships — not the picture-perfect kind, but the real, messy, meaningful kind that shape who we are. When families start to communicate, set boundaries, and create structure, healing often follows in ways that surprise everyone involved.
We all know what burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional exhaustion feel like — especially in a world that keeps asking us to give more than we have. Therapy can be a place to refill your tank, to reconnect with yourself, and to rediscover hope when life feels heavy.
If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, I want you to know that you don’t have to do this alone. Growth and renewal are absolutely possible, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you find your way there.
