I strive to help every client reach their goals, whether it's to "just stay alive" or to "determine the meaning of life." Everyone can benefit from therapy and I am here to help you on your journey to better wellness and optimal mental health. I believe in meeting clients where they're at and in supporting them in every part of their journey, whether it be the beginning, the hardest point, or maintenance periods. There is always something to gain in therapy.
I have completed plentiful research regarding eating disorders, worked with a number of clients to combat these cognitions and behaviors, and I am prepared to help any individual fight their ED. I have also completed research regarding PTSD, Complex-PTSD, and borderline personality disorder and how to best implement treatments for these and their symptoms. I utilize methods from CBT/DBT, schema-focused therapy, and even existentialism to help clients overcome their symptoms in order to improve their lives and maintain recovery and wellness.
I provide each and every client with compassion, empathy, and unconditional positive regard to build rapport and develop a relationship. Research shows that the most important aspect of counseling is the client-counselor relationship and I am well prepared to build this relationship with each and every client to provide the best care possible.
