Approach Description: At Stress & Anxiety Services, we utilize a variety of evidence-based treatments to help individuals overcome anxiety, trauma, and related disorders. Our expert clinicians tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, ensuring effective and lasting results.
Our Treatment Approaches:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): A highly effective approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety and stress.
-CBT-I: for insomnia
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): The gold-standard treatment for OCD, ERP helps individuals gradually face fears while resisting compulsive behaviors.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): A structured, 7-12 session therapy designed to help individuals challenge and modify unhelpful thoughts related to traumatic events.
Prolonged Exposure (PE): A 10-12 session treatment that involves discussing the traumatic experience in a controlled setting and gradually confronting avoided but safe situations.
Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT): A specialized therapy for children (~20 sessions) that helps young clients and their caregivers process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and create a trauma narrative.
Written Exposure Therapy (WET): A brief, structured therapy that uses guided writing exercises to help individuals process and reduce distress related to traumatic memories.
With our comprehensive and evidence-based approach, we empower clients to overcome challenges, regain control, and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Whether in person or through our nationwide telehealth services, we are committed to providing expert care in a supportive environment.
