Although I am warm and empathetic, I also do not f**k around with healing, so I will be real with you. I am ready when you are.  

I have experience utilizing tools that have been determined to be effective by research including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. I take the time to truly listen and understand what my clients are facing. Sometimes this involves helping my client clarify and understand their options. We also look at their natural strengths when it comes to working on solutions.  

I am an INFJ (Myers-Briggs) who also enjoys being extraverted at times and I am an Enneagram Type 6 (counter-fearful) Wing 5. I intentionally limit the number of clients I have a week so I can invest in preparing for sessions and being fully present. I love to learn about the brain and body connection and how it ties into our everyday life personally and professionally with clients. I have been known to laugh and cry with clients. Anything I encourage my clients to do, I would also be willing to do.  

As your therapist I focus on skill-building and direct, to-the-point feedback. I am particularly experienced in helping patients dealing with stress and overwhelm, as well as treatment for anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Together we will create a plan to help you move toward a healthy state of being.  

Two of my deepest held beliefs that I get to live out in my work as a therapist is my belief in the inherent worth of each person and the unlimited potential that lies within all of us. Counseling with me is a shame free space. I thrive in being able to create safety in sharing, connection in being well understood, and assistance in helping people more fully express their experiences in life. I'll help you disentangle yourself from fear, pain, and confusion and to emerge into a peaceful and connected life that you love.
