I specialize in treating eating disorders by providing compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses both the psychological and physical aspects of these complex conditions. My approach includes therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you develop a healthier relationship with food, body image, and self-esteem. I work closely with you to create a personalized treatment plan that supports recovery, fosters self-compassion, and empowers you to reclaim control over your life and well-being.
Disordered eating often signals an unhealthy and sometimes harmful relationship with food. These detrimental behaviors and thoughts can result in serious emotional and physical issues if left unaddressed. Similar to substance use, food is frequently used as a coping mechanism for life's challenges, which is why things can spiral out of control so quickly. At Wellness & Recovery Counseling, LLC, our aim is to equip clients with the tools and confidence needed to handle life’s stressors without resorting to food. We strive to help clients foster a healthier and more positive relationship with both food and themselves. Please contact us to learn how we can support you.
