I am trained in an array of evidence based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I often utilize Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy so you will see results QUICKLY. It is my passion to embark on a journey of wellness with each of my clients, by hearing their story and finding meaning and purpose of their life circumstances while providing a safe and non-judgmental environment. I believe every person has the capability to live their absolute best life, and feel privileged at the opportunity to assist YOU with identifying and expanding on strengths while improving coping skills and communication with others.  

Monica Buttafava is child and adolescent counseling expert who has been working in the field of mental health since 1996. She is devoted to helping children, teens, young adults and their families who are struggling with life's various difficulties traumas and adversities.
