I integrate life coaching into psychotherapy. If there are blockages keeping a person stuck, we will pick one of the emotional release techniques to get unstuck emotionally. Then it becomes much more manageable being held accountable for you doing what you say you are going to do. Life coaching is great to empower and encourage clients to come up with their own suggestions and action plan while I hold them accountable for said actions. However, blockages and obstacles must be overcome with the releasing of energies from difficult past events in order to act with a clean slate in the present.
