I have been an LPC and LMFT for over 20 years and am an approved LPC and LMFT supervisor. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a wealth of experience in treating relational problems, supporting clients through family issues, and much more. I specialize in couple's counseling and am passionate about restoring relationships. I am level 3 trained in the Gottman Method and I help couples find their way back to one another by teaching them a special form of communication that helps deepen their connection to one another.  

I hope my clients know that, though I am a professional counselor, I am - at my core - another human being hoping to help them through whatever they need support with. Therapy doesn't need to be scary, and I'm here to hold space so you can feel safe to share.  

I pursued mental health due to the stigma attached to seeking therapy within my community. However, I have furthered my “why” since becoming a mother. I realize the overarching need for improvement in mental health for mothers. More options for mental health services should be fully integrated in OB/GYN offices, primary care, and in hospitals treating mental health with the same importance as physical health.
