To that purpose, I use positive psychology, integrative holistic theories and practices, meditation, and breathwork so that my clients can experience a fulfilling life and become the authentic person they've wanted to be.
Low self-esteem is a product of unhealthy thoughts and practices that may have served us as one point in our lives but no longer is helpful towards experiencing a rich, full life. Shedding the sources of the pain and anxiety one layer at a time is the goal I have with clients so that self-worth and self-love can be restored while the things that hurt us are released to make room for a fulfilling life.

When I think of self-esteem issues, I think of the stories we tell ourselves or repeat from our childhood. People in our lives may have implanted these destructive thoughts in our mind, without meaning to. It could have been parents, relatives, family friends and even school bullies. It feels like the thoughts won't go away no matter what. I use Expressive Arts Therapy and talk therapy as a way to better understand the story with you. I have experienced, both alone and with clients, that the art making process quiets the negative chatter. I've witnessed client's gaining insight when using art. I've witnessed it move therapy alone faster. However, no client is forced to do art. It is always the client's choice. We move at your pace.
