In supporting individuals affected by domestic violence or intimate partner violence, I provide a safe and empathetic space for them to explore their experiences and emotions. Through therapy, we work together to address the impact of the abuse on their physical and emotional well-being, as well as their sense of safety and self-worth. I offer validation and support, helping survivors recognize that they are not alone and that the abuse is not their fault. Together, we develop safety plans and explore options for seeking support and resources, including shelters, legal assistance, and counseling services. Additionally, I help survivors process their trauma, rebuild their self-esteem, and establish boundaries in future relationships. My goal is to empower survivors to heal from the effects of domestic violence, regain control over their lives, and move forward with strength and resilience.
