I offer a safe, healing place to begin work around OCD. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I can treat symptoms of OCD, which is characterized by intrusive, persistent thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or rituals (compulsions) performed to alleviate anxiety or prevent perceived harm.
Loving all the different aspects of our personalities and ways in which we seek to cope in life can be necessary, as we seek to understand ways to minimize some 'not so helpful' behaviors
OCD can be paralyzing and hijack your life. Skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help you change your relationship to obsessive thoughts and channel your behaviors toward living your values more fully.
