Navigating the challenges of postpartum depression requires understanding, empathy, and specialized support. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, experiencing anxiety, or struggling with bonding after childbirth, I offer personalized counseling to help you navigate this delicate phase of motherhood.
Marriage and Family Therapist, EdD; EdS; MA; MA; LCMFT#0404011018; BCCLC#0131
Of the various marriage and couple therapies and models I have studied, I gravitate to the behavioral and emotion-centered approaches namely: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT). In terms of the behavioral approaches, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and its “spin-offs” provide a wealth of applicability and contextual viability. In addition, I am attracted to this approach as a practitioner due to its high level of empirical validation.
Struggling within our relationships and marriage can be overwhelming and have an impact on your daily life, causing problems at work and at home. My goal is to identify factors that contribute to the problem and help to make a plan to minimize it's effects so that you can be more relaxed and experience safety within yourself.
