There can be a lot of questions ("Am I ok?", "Will I always be depressed?", "Why am I angry?"). Or there can be a lot of denial ("I'm fine", "My parent is really the problem", "Counseling's a waste of time"). I'll work with your teen to help them feel comfortable, talking with them in an office or on a walk together, giving them a person they know they can trust with what's bothering them.
