Some issues will required a medical referral please call to discuss. The dictionary defines addiction as becoming dependent on something and then continuing to increase the amount of substance so that we can feel the same effect. If that is the case then why do people generally stick with the same daily amount of substance for years? Perhaps, because many things that we refer to as addictions such as shopping, chocolate, smoking, 3 glasses of wine a night are really just habits? The behavior starts of slowly and then through repetition it turns into a powerful habit. Habits are in the subconscious mind. The behavior starts off as a benefit, perhaps to help us feel better, but then it turns into a bad or healthy behavior. Behaviors are in our subconscious mind and hypnosis communicates with the subconscious mind. Consciously we may not know why we do what we do but, the subconscious knows. When we use our willpower to change that habit it can feel as if we have a fight going on in our head. With hypnosis we make your mind more congruent, hence the fight goes away easily let go of negative behaviors. Many clients experience success in just a few short sessions.
