Brett Hall

Registered Psychotherapist, Bsc - PSY, Grad. Dip Gestalt
I help good men deal with the intense pressure and stress of modern life. If you feel snowed under, lonely, anxious, depressed or simply unable to cope, I can help. It's hard to see the way forward on your own, but with the right support you can not just survive, but thrive. Over the last 8 years I have helped hundreds of good men find their way back to their authentic, empowered, capable selves. My work blends Gestalt Psychotherapy, Empowerment Coaching, & Nature-Based Mindfulness Practice. The purpose of this blend is to support you to heal, grow and take committed action in the areas of your life that most need it. As your therapist, my role will not be to fix you or tell you how to live your life. My role is to be beside you as you find your own inner resources and move through the blocks that hold you back. All I ask is for you to commit to finding a better life for you and your loved ones. Reach out today for a free chat to see if the work is a good fit for you.

Colin Longworth - HPCCH Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Psychology & Counselling Services

Psychologist, MAPS, B Psych ECowan, GradDipCounselMurdoch,
I am a mature-aged Cisgender Gay Male Psychologist, Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, who came to psychology as a mature-aged student (studying mainly part time) after working in a variety of blue and white-collar jobs. I find it interesting to investigate (therapeutically) how an individual (or couple) came to be where they are at this time of life. I refer to it as my "benevolent curiosity" which I use to seek to assist clients who come to see me (in person or online). My belief is that for some clients they like the idea of working with a Gay man who is also a psychologist, and therefore (potentially) has first-hand knowledge and experience with some of the issues that an LGBTI person may experience. (i.e. the client is unlikely to need to "educate" me on aspects of LGBTI life.) I also like the thought of being able to assist other LGBTI people feel more comfortable with where they are in life, by making use of my over half a century's life experience, decades of volunteer experience, all combined with my tertiary training.

I enjoy working collaboratively to create a shared sense of the goals and process of therapy. My work is informed by Clinical Psychology within a psychodynamic framework, my training in somatic psychotherapy, and a deep interest in the intersection of the mind, body, emotions and spirit.
