There is no cure for Alzheimer's disease, however I looked after my mom for 20 years in my home until she passed. During her illness I wrote two books on dementia and spoke at 3 international conferences on living with Alzheimer's disease. I bring a unique perspective of an informal caregiver and the up close and personal challenges my mom faced as she advanced. I understand both sides, the stress of caregiving and the challenges of the patient
