Therapy will place a strong emphasis on creating an empathetic space for clients to process and effectively manage depressive symptoms. The non-judgmental environment is designed to enable clients to safely explore and delve into the complexities of their depression. By applying evidence-based practices (schema therapy methods, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, attachment approaches), fostering a healthy safe therapeutic alliance and tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs, clients acquire the necessary skills for effectively managing their depressive symptoms. Whether the focus is on major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder, or other related depressive conditions, the approaches can assist clients in alleviating the emotional burden of depression and progressing towards an improved quality of life.

Dimitri's experience extends to conducting psychological assessments and offering counselling support to Victims of Crime through (VOCAT), clients associated with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Workcover clients, and those covered by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and has previously provided psychological support within prison settings.
