Private and Medicare clients are being seen mostly by Alicja Weidner / Principal Therapist from H-L Therapy in our office, which is located at Modbury North in the north-eastern region of Adelaide. Services for NDIS participants are fully subsidised by NDIS and provided by H-L Therapy staff at either the H-L Therapy office or in other community locations, including participant's houses.

Hi, I'm Rachel, I have been working in the mental health and NDIS space for the past 15 years, I would be pleased to assist you on this journey of life to help you navigate in any areas that you may be struggling with including behavioural problems, grief, relationship issues, anxiety and depression, Alzheimer's etc. I provide a friendly and safe space in which there is no judgement, where we can work together to create a better and healthier you.Having a child that is an NDIS recipient I have personal experience in the difficulties and challenges faced of people with special needs and the impact on family members. Having also lost many close family members I have had to navigate the very sad journey of grief. I have also worked in the aged care sector for approximately 15 years in which I have a great deal of experience working with family members of people with Alzheimer's and various elderly person disorders. I provide an empathetic and heartfelt Counselling approach that will be goal focused with individual needs always catered to.

I am a registered Clinical Counsellor & Psychotherapist with extensive experience in a working in a variety of settings. This includes working with children & teens in both the primary and secondary school sector. Furthermore, I have worked in corporate & community sectors with individuals presenting with diverse clinical presentations as well as in family violence and as a on site critical incident trauma clinician.
