I'm constantly amazed at two things: one, how resilient human beings are in their ability to survive trauma and then with the proper therapy to overcome the effects of that trauma; and two, how prevalent trauma is in our world. From Complex sexual trauma/molestation to missing the side of the trampoline and breaking a bone, to the trauma of being raised in an oppressive home, to loss of job, status or lover, the effects are devastatingly limiting.
