I help anxious clients process their fears, challenges, and concerns in a safe, warm environment that provides empathy as well as solutions and ideas for enriching their life and moving away from a fear-based point of view.
Together we will identify your anxiety, begin to understand it, and learn tools or skills to take control of it. You will learn how to manage your anxiety rather than it managing you. And I will be there to guide you through this process, to navigate your path.
Anxiety is the most pervasive mental health concern in our society. I utilize CBT and exposure approaches to address the thoughts that fuel the anxiety that is disrupting your life.
If you feel especially anxious, I may be a good fit for you. My therapy style is collaborative, warm, and nonjudgmental, with room for humor. Together, we will work to improve your symptoms, gain a deeper understanding of your concerns and bring about lasting change.
