Due to my extensive experience working with adolescents and young people, I have developed an ability to work closely with families & other professionals, whilst keeping the boundary of privacy & confidentiality. "Often enough, we do not know our own mind. In the process of dialogue with another person, we are able to clarify what we think and feel"
(Fonagy, 2006).
Through curiosity and an open mind, I work with you to explore the complexities of life. Together we identify unconscious patterns, limiting beliefs, conditionings, and behaviours that are holding you back. I support you to discover who you are beyond the mental minefield of rumination, uncontrolled emotions and triggers, anxiety, addiction, pain, and suffering. Supporting your self-awareness and understanding, I help you to connect to your authentic self, free from judgement, so you can create your life in alignment with who you truly are.

Registered Psychotherapist, Masters in Gestalt Therapy
I believe in creating a safe space that holds your experience and your personal story so that you have the freedom to explore whatever comes up. Using somatic (body-based) methods, I support you to find your own strength and inner resources.
I have 14 years of experience working with multicultural populations, in different countries such as the USA and Lebanon. I offer therapy in both English and Arabic. I can also hold a conversation in French. I support at-risk youth, displaced families, and those facing relationship problems. I work with mood disorders and different types of trauma, created by bullying and domestic violence. I offer a client-centred and multicultural approach in therapy. I emphasise accepting the uniqueness of each individual while also working with the intricate impact of culture on self- awareness, development and overall well-being.
In addition to the wide range of therapeutic techniques I use, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also an animal lover and believe in integrating animals into therapy, when appropriate, as this type of therapy can provide soothing, healing and comfort for individual clients.
I view the process of counselling as a delicate and enriching experience, both for my clients as well as for myself as a counsellor.
