Counsellor/Therapist, Masters of GT: Adv Dip GT , NLP practitioner, Resource Therapist, RN. Member PACFA and GANZ and ACA
I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist and an NLP practitioner. I work from a holistic framework that appreciates the client in their entirety. The therapeutic relationship is based on mutual respect and curiosity rather than one of expert cure. I offer SKYPE, PHONE and FACE TO FACE COUNSELLING.
My focus is on creating a comfortable space for my clients, so we can work together and clearly understand the client's issues and needs. I really want meaningful change for my clients, and every person's experience is unique and important. My goal is for clients to feel respected and heard, and to feel that they are getting what they need out of therapy. I offer in-person and online therapy sessions.
The focus of my practice is to facilitate the client's self-concept and self-esteem. Issues include anger management; addictions; depression; sexual assault/domestic violence; PTSD; career counseling; and multicultural and diverse populations, among others.
As the research director and a mental health coach at Sentient Professional Wellbeing, I work with both individuals and across organisations. I specialise in, and am passionate about, supporting individuals working in the animal welfare and broader ethical sectors to overcome professional challenges. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, grief and/or loss, I am here for you.
