To begin with - and I refuse to accept stigma around this - I was diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder Type 1 (full manic episodes) when I was in my late teens/early 20's. With a combination of medication and therapy, my moods are (mostly) stable and my life is (mostly) in balance. I have a ton of tools that I use, and more that I can offer to work with you on this very challenging diagnosis!
Having personally navigated the complexities of bipolar disorder, I offer a unique understanding and unwavering support to others on this journey. Together, we'll explore coping mechanisms, create stability, and reclaim your life from the grips of mania and depression.
Do you experience periods of high energy, speak too fast for others to understand, and engage in behaviors that others might describe as "high risk?" Are these experiences causing damage or stress in your life and relationships? If so, please reach out and learn how to find some balance in what often feels like a chaos.
