It can feel impossible sometimes to let down your guard, feel into your heart, and discover your potential for change. I offer a creative healing space where you can explore the hard stuff and grow into the good stuff. My training and experience cover diverse healing practices, and my office in downtown Santa Monica includes an art studio space where you can explore and play. Whether you are arriving to therapy yourself, with a partner, with your family, or to join a group... with me you will find the necessary support to safely go inward. I love this work, and I will hold space for you to show up as you are. I am currently accepting new clients for both in-person and telehealth services. Schedule a free consultation today.

I’m a therapist because I believe in the healing strength of being with: Being with our feelings, our present moment experience, and each other. So often, we walk through life feeling alone and disconnected. Therapy is a place for you to unfold and expand into a life that feels more authentic and spacious, a place for you to experience connection and transformation. Clients who work with me often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and creative. In addition to what you might think of when hear the words “talk therapy,” I also incorporate art, movement, and mindfulness into our sessions. I view my clients and myself as co-collaborators in the therapy process, and work with you to create a space that feels supportive and safe. I take a non-pathologizing approach, honoring the strategies that got you to this moment, and supporting you as you unfold into your authentic self.

I believe that no matter where you’ve been, what you’ve been through, or where you are currently, there is hope. I know that life can throw some crazy curve balls and I understand how painful and earth-shattering crisis can be. You may feel too weary to deal with what is happening (or you may be tired of always having to be so strong), but sometimes transformation can happen just by holding on. I would like to be the person who supports you in hanging on, even if the rope seems to be slipping through your fingers. Because I believe the future can look different than the present and the past. Things can change. So if you feel like giving up, please give me a call instead. Like a tree, I believe that in order to change the fruit (what is currently going on in our life), we need to look at the root. You can pick every orange off an orange tree hoping it will grow apples, but unless you change the root, it will just keep growing oranges. I believe that if we can get to the “heart” (or root) of what is happening, you will see different fruit begin to develop. Because I believe that many of life’s struggles stem from wounds of the heart. I want to help wounded hearts heal. I enjoy working with people of all cultures, beliefs and backgrounds. For those who are interested in Christian Counseling, I am also trained in integrating God into that healing process.
