Forgiveness of the self and others is integral to transcending all suffering and egoic positions. All suffering comes from a lack of forgiveness and love primarily towards ourselves. True forgiveness can only come from the "heart" and not from an intellectual point of view (i.e. mind). With humility, we can recognize the fragility, naivety and innate innocence of ourselves, which leads to a surrender of all judgment, thus accentuating forgiveness.
Forgiveness can be profound and transformative, and help to liberate you from the weight of resentment and hurt. In therapy for forgiveness, we explore the complexities of forgiveness and acknowledge and honour the pain you've experienced while also cultivating in-depth understanding of how things came to be the way they did.
How do you find peace in yourself so that you are able to move on and lead a fulfilling life? It is often our own unwillingness to forgive and let go that causes our suffering. Working together we find ways to negotiate and bring about a sense of understanding that allows for another way of being to emerge.

Forgiveness Therapy. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or condoning the wrongdoing, granting legal mercy, or reconciling a relationship. You can forgive a person while in no way believing that their actions were acceptable or justified.
